2015 WCEP Promising Practice

A successful Promising Practices application (one of the 11 Principles) will get a school team into the June 2015 Wisconsin Character Education Conference!

The application involves creating a two-page narrative about a practice that is ongoing at your school that has impacted your character education program.  Preference is given to practices that have been in place for more than a year and which are ongoing, as compared to single-day events (i.e. Veterans Day Program, Clean-Up Day at the Park, etc).  We’re looking for practices that are unique, can be replicated at other schools, align with one of CEP’s Eleven Principles of Effective Character Education and have demonstrated impact on your school’s character education.

The deadline for applications is February 16, 2015.  Information on applying is available at Wisconsin Character Education Partnership’s website (wicharacter.org).  On the website, you’ll also find information about school activities that have been designated as Promising Practices in past years.
