Educators are really difficult to contact because they are inundated. People are always telling them what to do; they have to learn new forms and new programs. Much of this is totally unreasonable, time consuming and exhausting, taking away valuable time when teachers are really there to grow and nurture young people.

We have reached out to busy teachers in many different ways. The one way we know that works for sure in an efficient way is having a positive experience with WCEP, through Alverno LACCS program. If you have already experienced LACCS, attended the South Milwaukee State Character Conference, or in any way personally experienced 11 Principles training and learned the value of it, help us help these wonderful busy teachers. We encourage you, implore you, to share what you’ve experienced with a colleague, particularly a school leader and the team surrounding them. A simple note from you will get their attention.

We trust you personally have the LACCS kick off dates Aug. 10 & 11th on your calendar and will share them with those who may benefit. Also remember the 2017 Character Education Conference share it too. Keep our website www.Wicharacter.org in your Favorites list to use to enhance the life of another educator.

We know that schools with this training attract teachers to their environment. In some cases, the kids don’t want to go home at the end of the day. That home environment is not as pleasant as the one in their school building. We also know parents and community members become highly supportive of what emerges as the center of the community which further prepares our young people for life.

WOW! This is an opportunity to have a great place to work. WCEP doesn’t add work on our teachers; it makes their work easier.

Please pass along this good news.
