Promising Practice Awards 2010

As part of the Wisconsin Schools of Character awards program, Wisconsin Character Education Partnership gives Promising Practices awards to schools and districts in Wisconsin for implementing unique and specific strategies in character education.

A blue-ribbon panel selects those practices that are deemed to qualify as Promising Practices.  Winning schools and districts will be honored at the Annual Character Education Conference in June.  The promising practices of the winning schools are held as best practices to guide other schools in the state.  The schools that were recognized for Promising Practice Awards in the past have represented both public and private schools and schools that were located in urban, suburban, and rural areas of Wisconsin.

If your school or district has developed and successfully implemented a unique practice, we encourage you to apply for a Promising Practices award.  We are not looking for a description of your whole character education program, but rather for a specific practice or aspect of your program that other schools may learn from and even replicate.

*Please note that the deadline for applications for Promising Practice Awards is February 20, 2010.

**Please note that these applications must be sent via email.
